As usual, Waco Lodge kept very busy in December with various charitable causes. Several of our members participated in the 30th annual Food for Families drive. The record was again broken as more than 2,300,000 pounds of food was gathered for families in need for Christmas 2019. You can read more about this event by clicking here.
Also, on Thanksgiving morning, several Waco Lodge brothers helped prepare meals at the annual program hosted by Lee Lockwood Library.
Then, at the December stated meeting, the brethren in attendance donated $750 out of their own pockets and voted to match that from lodge funds for the purpose of providing 15 total children of Waco ISD with special Christmases through the Waco ISD Christmas Wish program.
