Recently, video was discovered of Waco Lodge member and baseball Hall of Famer Ted Lyons teaching locals on the Marshall Islands how to play America’s pastime. Brother Lyons suspended his legendary career as a pitcher for the Chicago White Sox in order to serve in the military during WWII and it was during that service in 1944 that this footage was filmed.
