From the East
My apologies for the delayed message this month. As you may have guessed, May will be another busy month. We have three EAs in the pipeline; therefore, we will be preparing for Fellowcraft and Masters Degrees beyond that. On May 20th, we will have a spring clean up in anticipation of the Open House on May 27th. Please make time to participate in these activities. Brother Gillaspy has arranged for a blood drive on the 27th; this is a public event, so please let all friends, family and acquaintances know we are having an Open House! Let’s make this a successful and memorable event. The blood drive is not the only event on the agenda. I plan to be on hand to cook up burgers (free) for anyone who donates blood that day. No doubt Brother Marshall has some plans for activities and events as well; to find out what they are, come on out on the 27th of this month. Until next time, Be Well!

April showers will bring May flowers! I hope that everyone is doing okay. Summer is almost here. School will be out in a few weeks. Many of you will be going on vacation.
On Saturday, May 27th we will be hosting our Open House as directed by Most Worshipful Kirby. We will also have a blood drive going on at that time. I would like to urge all of you who can donate blood to do so. This is a very worthwhile project. This will also be a great time to bring a prospective member to see our lodge and what we are all about. The open house will be held that afternoon. Please come by if you can.
Second Notices for Non-Payment of Dues have been mailed out. A final notice will go out on June 1st. If dues are not paid by the 23rd of June the members who have not paid will go suspended. This is just a reminder that the dues for this year are $100.
Hope to see everyone in lodge at our stated meeting on May 11th.
Tom Waden, Secretary
