William Fielding Swigert

(1916-1990)

William Swigert was born on December 7, 1916 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He worked for his father at the S.B. Swigert & Company construction firm.

Brother Swigert spent much of 1967 traveling and attended interesting masonic meetings in Georgia, South Carolina, Canada, New York, Connecticut, and elsewhere. During that time, he attended masonic degrees put on by Canada “Mounties,” the Grand Master of South Carolina, and even one in an abandoned quarry in South Carolina where a Fire Department Degree Team from Ohio performed in front of a crowd of 1,000 masons.

William Swigert passed away on December 2, 1990 in Harlingen and was buried there.
